Over my many years of attempting to engage in good-faith discussion with liberals on Twitter, I eventually became disillusioned to discover that they were, more-often-than-not, fully disinterested with engaging in sincere debate. Eventually, I came to observe that there was a pattern to the responses I saw on that platform, which I then felt compelled to categorize.
This is the result of that realization: a list of the most commonly adopted logical fallacies used by liberals on Twitter. Feel free to save and share these as you wish.
May America continue to remain free.
Note: On 03/03/23 I switched fallacies number 4 and 6, due to my observations that liberals were engaging in ‘Double Standards’ to a far greater extent than I had previously estimated. As I found this strategy being employed more often than ‘Strawman Arguments’, I decided to switch the order. The order of fallacies in this list is no more than an approximation, however.
On 08/24/23 I discovered a typo in Fallacy 11, so I changed ‘Daily Pundit’ to ‘Gateway Pundit.’ Also, I deleted a reference to Fox News, because fuck them. I added a reference to NY Post in their place.
On 02/13/24, I changed the language for Fallacy 5 - Ad Hominem. I just wanted to improve the wording.
